How secure are my personal details?

We take our members safety, security and privacy very seriously, that is why we try and do everything possible to ensure you are protected.

  • You will find that the URL is protected by a secure padlock.
  • All profiles are manually checked by the Chameleon Vibes team before being approved.
  • Our procedures are fully aligned with the safeguarding requirements of the UK Data Protection Act 2018 and the EU General Data Protection Regulations 679/2016.
  • Information provided by individuals to Chameleon Vibes will be stored on a secure company server and will not be shared automatically with any third-party.
  • When contacting Chameleon Vibes via the online contact form the content of messages sent will be encrypted in transit and Chameleon Vibes’s reply will be protected in transit, provided that the user’s email provider supports Transport Layer Security (TLS) transfer encryption.

 


How do I contact customer services?

Customer care service operate from Monday – Saturday 9am – 9pm GMT

1. Go onto the homepage

2. Log into your account

3. Go to ‘contact us’ button at the bottom of the page or on the blue menu bar.

4. Supply your email address

5. Enter a subject matter

6. Give as much detail as possible in the ‘message’ section, including screen shots if it is a technical difficulties. The more information the quicker we will likely be able to help you.

7. Press SEND

Please allow 48 hours to respond to enquiries.

 

How do I delete my profile?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select MY ACCOUNT

5. Select PRIVACY

6. Scroll down to the bottom of the page

7. Select DELETE ACCOUNT

8. You will be asked “ Are you sure you want to delete your profile”

9. Select Delete  (Your profile will be permanently deleted after 90 days. You can restore it within this period of time.)

 


How do I change my password?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select MY ACCOUNT

5. Select SETTINGS

6. Scroll down and enter Old password and the NEW password, repeat new password

7. Press SUBMIT

 

 

How can I contact a match?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select “SEARCHING” in the top blue panel bar

5. Select the thumbnail profile photo of the member you want to contact, their profile will appear

6. Select ‘WRITE A MESSAGE’

 

 


How do I report misconduct/block/report a member?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select “My Matches” in the top blue panel bar

5. Select the thumbnail profile photo of the member you want to block/report, their profile will appear

6. Select MORE drop down button and select either >REPORT or >BLOCK

>REPORT

i. select the reason for your report, Spam, Offense or Illegal

ii. Press Submit

>BLOCK

i. You will be asked “ Are you sure you want to block this user?”

ii. Select Block

 

 


How do I unblock a user?

1. Select “My Matches” in the top blue panel bar

2. Select the thumbnail profile photo of the member you want to unblock, their profile will appear

3. Select MORE drop-down button

4. Select UNBLOCK

 

 


How do I upload my photos?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select PHOTOS on the second top blue bar

5. Select ‘UPLOAD’ and browse computer to upload your photos

6. Photos will then be manually approved  (this can take up to a few hours)

 


How do I manage my photos?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select ‘PHOTOS’ on THE SECOND top blue bar .

5. Your photos are displayed

6. Select and click on the photo you want to delete

7. It will pop up in a separate window

8. Hover over the top right hand corner button (arrow)

9. Select “delete” by using the “Rubbish bin” Icon at the bottom of the photo

 


How do I change my profile picture?

1. Log onto our home page

2. Enter email and password

3. Press SIGN IN

4. Select PROFILE button on top blue bar

5. Your photos are displayed

6. Hover over your profile picture (bottom left)

7. Press CHANGE PROFILE PICTURE

 

 


How do I unblock a user?

1. Select “My Matches” in the top blue panel bar

2. Select the thumbnail profile photo of the member you want to unblock, their profile will appear

3. Select MORE drop-down button

4. Select UNBLOCK
